Tango, a 1998 film by Spanish director Carlos Saura, would have to be in my opinion, one of the best films ever made about tango.
The entire film revolves around the dance of tango and has some beautifully filmed scenes of real Argentinean tango.
This clip is from the movie and is a good example of what the essence of tango is - the connection and embrace between the dancers, the subtle footwork which appears effortless yet can take years to master and the underlying sensuality and seduction that is alternatively withheld and then exposed.
Last but not least, if you want to create a little Tango ambience in your home click here.
